Missions
When [Jesus] saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. (Matthew 9:36-38)
Every one of our missionaries are a vital part of our ministry here at Victory, and we join our hearts and hands with them in their mission field. As we learn more about our missionaries and their calling, we are so inspired by their passion and devotion to people and to God. We count it a privilege to be involved in their ministry, and we believe the Lord has great plans for our missions ministry. We simply believe in missions being the heart of God.
Just last February, we spent a week with our missionaries in Cuetzalan, Mexico. We witnessed first-hand the work of the Carter Family among the Aztec Indians. We gained such an understanding of the compassion of Christ reaching out to the “sheep without a shepherd”. We met children who had been raised from the dead and delivered from demons! We were so inspired to see the spiritual hunger and growth among the people who are so poor in material wealth, but SO RICH IN CHRIST! Jesus is truly King!
