HOME The HEART OF RUTH Senior Adult Ministry
| Where you will go, I will go (Ruth 1:16) The Heart of Ruth Ministry is for senior men and women, ages 50 and up. The Book of Ruth says, the Lord is our Kinsman Redeemer, demonstrating care, support and restoration to his people. Ruth's unwavering faithfulness to her mother-in-law, Naomi and Boaz' covering and protection over both, is the example we desire to follow. Compassion in Action: Inspired by 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 ... that we may be able to comfort ... with the comfort with which we are comforted by God. The Heart of Ruth team desires to be the hands of Jesus reaching out to those in need of support due to loss, loneliness, illness, or limitations of aging. Godly Friendship: Nehemiah 8:10 ... the joy of the Lord is your strength. All people are vital and significant to God. We seek to follow the Lord's direction and anointing, extending the hands of friendship to all senior adults. Spiritual and social events serve to encourage, edify, and foster meaningful relationships. Let us share the joy. |
