“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
The Women’s Ministry of Victory Assembly of God exists to develop women who express their faith in Jesus Christ through nurturing relationships within the church body and taking advantage of opportunities to effectively influence their community.
During the course of the year we plan a variety of activities to involve the women of our church and community. Some of the activities we offer for women of all ages and interests are:
- Family Apple Picking Day: A time for the entire family to participate and fellowship in a fun filled day.
- Annual Retreat: An opportunity for the women to be refreshed and renewed, at an offsite hotel, through workshops, speakers, and fellowship with women from other churches.
- Soup for the Soul: Women prepare their soup specialties for a night of soup, skits, song, and scripture.
- Outreach: Over the past 10 years, at Christmas, the Women’s Ministry has coordinated the Christmas stockings/bags for the inner city youth.
- Informal Activities: These have included movie night, Spring Retreat on the cape, pizza, and Saturday morning breakfasts.
We encourage all women, young and old, to come out and participate as we are planning new activities for the upcoming season, which begins in September.
